The Program of “Protection of Employer’s Right, Legalities, and Implications”
Johor Bahru, 28 April 2023- The Malaysian Industrial Talent Board through its Education Division, Internal Executive Exco has implemented the "Protection of Employer's Right, Legalities, and Implications" program to provide exposure to employers and employees related to the amendment of the 1955 Employment Act.
The knowledge sharing program was held at KSL Resort Hotel on April 28, 2023 (Friday) and received a favorable response from employers and employees throughout Malaysia.
This program was led by Human Resource Consultant, Mr Sean Lee from InTalent Consulting Sdn. Bhd., as the speaker for this seminar related to the Employment Act (Amendment) 1955. He has extensive experience in the field of human resources. According to Mr Sean Lee, this program needs to be held to give exposure and knowledge to employers and employees about human resource management that involves the Employment Act (Amendment) of 1955.
The program also aims to provide space and opportunities for employers and employees to interact and share knowledge and experience in managing human resources in their respective companies.
Beside that, there was also a signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the Malaysian Industrial Talent Board and local companies as a symbol of the desire to cooperate in order to improve the quality of management and create better jobs. The following companies that have signed a memorandum of understanding with LSBIM are:
1. InTalent Consulting Sdn. Bhd.
2. Scorpion Technology Group 6786 Sdn. Bhd.
3. Descom Sdn. Bhd.
4. Grand Care Rehab (M) Sdn. Bhd.
LSBIM hopes that such a program can be continued since it is important in managing the relationship between employers and employees in the private sector because the 1955 Employment Act contains provisions on employee rights and minimum employment standards.
