"PINKARNIVAL 2023" for Breast Cancer Awareness
Kuala Lumpur, 22 October 2023 - 'PINKARNIVAL' - a program to raise awareness about the dangers of breast cancer to the community. This program is located at KL Wellness City Bukit Jalil, on 22 October 2022 (Sunday) which was completed by Puan Linda, Head of the Central Malaysia Division, Women's Development Division (LSBIM), YB Theresa Kok, Member of Parliament for Seputeh and Entrepreneur Jezzlyn Siu Cia Yee, Organizing Chairlady for Pinkarnival 2023 (Founder & Director for Sonobee Ultrasound). The Talent Resource Board of Malaysia (LSBIM) would like to say a million thanks to the 36 Pinkpower Ambassadors, NGO Friends, Media Friends, and honorable guests who are willing , take the time to be present on the day of the incident. We would also like to thank Medicap, the main sponsor who has given full support to this event.
Pinkarnival is a program that celebrates the fighting spirit and resilience of women who have faced breast cancer and reminds all women of the importance of breast health monitoring. Pinkarnival is not only about discussing serious health issues, but also about reminding women that they are not alone in this struggle. It is one of the programs to reach out, provide support, and strengthen the relationship between patients, caregivers and the community as a whole.
There are various interesting activities that are suitable for the whole family to be held during this program. The activities include bra art competition, barbie catwalk runway competition, health and peace coloring competition, violin performance by expert Jessica Loo, expert sharing from Dr. See from UMMC, a sharing of life stories of breast cancer patients from Makna, zumba by Izabella Ho, as well as a kidpreneur stall. All these activities are aimed at spreading awareness about breast cancer starting from a young age.
Pinkarnival is a program that not only reminds the community of the dangers of breast cancer, but also celebrates the strength and resilience of women in the face of it. It is a call to action for prevention, monitoring, and research so that we can continue to fight to curb the dangers of breast cancer.
