Visit to HRD Corporation

Kuala Lumpur, 15 December 2022 - LSBIM made a courtesy visit to HRD Corporation to improve understanding of board members regarding the services and training provided by HRD Corporation. Furthermore, this visit aimed to highlight LSBIM's initiatives in improving productivity and skills for talents in Malaysia. With that, LSBIM has been trusted to serve as a Trainer Organizer in helping HRD Corporation to promote training programs provided.

LSBIM collaborates with APEXX e-Learning in the "Shopee Ultimate Mastermind 2" program

PETALING JAYA, 1st December 2022 – LSBIM collaborates with APEXX E-Learning (M) Sdn. Bhd. to hold a program named "Shopee Ultimate Mastermind 2" at Hotel Armada, Petaling Jaya. This program is held for the purpose of helping small and medium companies in learning to use the Shopee app and other online platforms as well as encouraging them to master the use of these applications in business more efficiently and effectively. Furthermore, this program provides exposure regarding the best methods that give profit to the company through sales revenue that reaches up to 8 digits per month in the Shopee application and other online platforms.

Visit to MOSTI

Putrajaya, 17 November 2022 - LSBIM made a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) to discuss the benefits of grants provided by MOSTI. The purpose of the visit is to gain understanding on the use of these technology and innovation grants by the business community in Malaysia so to be able to develop business operations and the national economy.

The grants or funds provided by MOSTI are focused on the development of technological designs, processes or products that have the potential to generate the national economy where all industrial sectors are eligible to apply.

LSBIM ACTIVITY [4] — 18 Oct 2022

Visit to Johor State JTK

JOHOR BAHRU, 18 OCTOBER 2022 -The Malaysian Industrial Talent Board visited the Johor State Department of Labour to improve understanding related to the amendment of the 2022 Employment Act and to highlight LSBIM's initiative in helping to deal with current issues regarding accommodation and housing facilities for workers, especially foreign workers .

The visit was welcomed by Yang Berusaha Puan Syarifah Awang, Senior Assistant Director of the Johor State Department of Labour together with JTK representatives held at its Johor office.

Visit to SOCSO

Kuala Lumpur, 27 October 2022 -Respectful visit to SOCSO to establish corporate relations in improving programs related to social security, especially for the self-employed.

MOU Signing Ceremony Between Lsbim With Partnering Companies

Johor Bahru, 21 October 2022 - At the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony between the Malaysian Industrial Talent Board and partnering companies which took place at the Convention Centre, Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru. This agreement was signed by YBhg Dr CM Kong who represented LSBIM and representatives from our partnering companies in Malaysia. The objective of this MOU is to establish strategic cooperation between LSBIM and these companies in improving the quality of business and creating more jobs.

Visit to SOCSO

KUALA LUMPUR, 22 September 2022 -LSBIM paid a visit to SOCSO for a discussion related to programs for the welfare of workers in Malaysia.

The discussion led to an agreement to cooperate in dealing with the issues faced by society and employers in Malaysia in order to provide social security protection to workers in particular.
